“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.”

What’s your coping style?
Are you the person who waits till issues become a crisis point for you to address them? Are you reactive versus proactive? Are you so busy and overwhelmed that you continuously ignore the problem?
Too often, the majority of my clients fall into this category. After years of deprivation, the body can no longer function. Your health can improve but it will take a long time to be at an optimal level.
The other coping style is to be proactive. Being in tune with your body or having regular contact with professionals to address the issues immediately. Addressing your lifestyle so that your schedule is manageable allow lots of breathing space.
Start 2018 with a question to ask yourself daily.
How can I be healthier today?
Here are some suggestions to get you started on the right track:
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator
- Have a meal with a person at a table
- Turn off your phone for 1 hour
- Make eye contact when you thank the barrista
- Drive at the speed limit
- Give a hug
- Walk in nature
- Drink a glass of water
- Help a friend
- Dance to your favourite song
When you invest in yourself daily, you will get high returns with a better quality of life.
“Everyone is trying to accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of little things. ”
